There may be one or more times during our life when we encounter a situation that resembles a possible human trafficking situation. How do we report it? It is important to remember that human trafficking case reports are welcomed by the organizations listed, as well as by your local law enforcement. You may be the only hope a victim has for being found and assisted.
Homeland Security notes “Do not at any time attempt to confront a suspected trafficker directly or alert a victim to your suspicions”. They stress that this protocol is for the safety of the victim and the reporter (yourself). Call one of the numbers provided or your local law enforcement (911).
