GlowbalAct is fighting my favorite social justice fight – human trafficking. What is very interesting about this particular organization is their focus on providing job skills for victims. It’s always a good day when I am able to report on an organization that is helping victims of trafficking.

Although GlowbalAct is a Swiss NGO (non governmental organization) they have recently expanded their work to Israel. They sponsor an organization called A.I.R. (Act.Inspire.Restore) in Israel to provide job skills for former victims of sex trafficking. The idea is to recycle pallet wood into rustic pieces of furniture. Every single piece of furniture is unique, because it all comes from recycled goods. So, it’s earth-friendly, and provides job training and skills for people in need.
