FESTUS, MO (KTVI) – Police came to a Festus home Sunday morning for a report of a spider bite. What they found was one of the worst cases of child abuse they have ever seen. A 17-month-old child was found beaten to death. A 3-year-old was also injured in the attack.
Mother Taylor Fast, 21, was arrested on child endangerment charges. Now, her boyfriend has been identified and charged in connection with the abuse of the 3-year-old.
Dewayne Boyer, of DeSoto, MO is charged with abuse or neglect of a child. His cash only bond has been set at $500,000.
